1 DAY TRIP TO MAI CHAU (DAILY DEPARTURE)

Mai Chau is a district of Hoa Binh province, 150km south-west of Hanoi and is a small town surrounded by ancient villages of the White Thai, H’Mong, Muong, Dao, Tay and Kinh people.

Mai Chau is one of the attractive destinations of the Northern Vietnam, with its magnificent rutes and cultural experiences. Come to Hoaban homestay for a day trip to Mai Chau to discover and learn about local life here.

7:00 - 7:30 - Car and tour guide will pick you up at Ngo Huyen in Hoan Kiem District (Old Quarter).

10:30 - Stop to take a rest at Thung Khe Pass view point - one of the most beautiful roads of the North West Road.

12:00 - Arrival to Lac village, the village of White Thai ethnic group. Visitors will have lunch at Hoa Ban Homestay with traditional dishes of Thai people. 

13:00 - After lunch we start our journey to discover Mai Chau Valley with many small villages of the White Thai ethnic minority by bike. Here you will experience the traditional production of brocade weaving, participate in the training class on fabric, dye natural fabrics with local masters to feel and know more about life and the culture of the White Thai.

16:30 - Return to Hanoi. On the way back, you will visit and take photos at Mai Chau view point and say goodbye to Mai Chau Valley.

20:20 - Arrival in Hanoi. End of the program.
